Happy Halloween!

We dressed Camp as a little pumpkin and he looked so precious! We made the rounds to all of the grandparents and they all thought he was absolutely adorable. I can't wait for him to be able to go trick or treating!
We couldn't have picked a better pumpkin ourselves!

He was yawning, but it looks like he's saying "No more milk, I want candy!" :)

Flying Sophie!

Here are a few fun videos from the past week. Adam and I just think the video of Camp hiccuping is hilarious. He's becoming so alert and we had a little fun with him seeing if he would follow Adam's voice.

Pumpkin Patch

We took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch last night! Of course Camp slept the whole time! He did wake up at dinner and was so alert! It was fun taking him out of his carseat to let him look around at everything. He was passed around the table and he loved it.

{please excuse the red eye...i called danielle in a pure panic thinking that camp had an eye disease!!! the red eye remover on her computer made it look like that! :) }

Just Like His Daddy

We just got back from our drs. appointment and the little buddy is getting so big! He's 9 pounds, 1 ounce and 22 inches long. He's in the 70% for height and 35% for his weight....tall and skinny like his daddy. His head is in the 35% so he's not taking after me in that aspect either! Haha. Adam and I went to lunch after the appointment and Camp just slept the whole time. He really is such a good baby!!

Happy One Month, Little Buddy!

(Danielle suggested that I post the previous month's picture as well for a little comparison...good idea!)
Can't believe he's one month today!! Everyone tells us how fast time flies, but it really does. We go for his one month check up tomorrow and I'm so excited to see how much he weighs and how long he's getting. I forgot to give Donna the shout out last time I posted the picture of Camp & Beary, but she gave this to Camp. She got one for Chandler 14 years ago. Chandler and her Beary were inseparable! I'm sure that will be the case with Camp and this precious bear too!

Micah & Adam with their matching babies! :) We need another picture with the diaper bags and with the Dads smiling and actually looking at the camera!

Life is rough.

His first real bath and he really enjoyed it!

Trip to Thomasville

Mama Byrd, Camp, and I went to Thomasville on Thursday to visit Nina. Camp hadn't met Nina yet (his great grandmother) so we planned a trip to go see her! She was thrilled and fell in love with him immediately. He was so well behaved and just slept the whole time. He was a pretty big hit at the nursing home!

Cute Baby!

That's what the UPS guy said when he delivered Camp's pack and play today. (It's here...FINALLY) And boy is he right!! This little buddy gets cuter and cuter everyday! We had a fun day of errands today. We went to get my "pushing prize" sized. Be on the lookout for that post when I get it back. We also went up to the Women's Pavillion today to drop off a little gift to our labor & delivery nurse, Leah. Camp and I got to go back to labor & delivery and it was so weird to be back there again and see all of the rooms. It definitely brought me back to that night 4 weeks ago when Adam and I walked back very excited and VERY nervous. Here are a few pictures of the little buddy that I took today. Enjoy!

More Videos!

Here are a few videos that we took this morning.

The Beach

We had a great weekend at the beach! It was so nice and relaxing and the weather was great. Adam and I felt like we packed up our entire house for two nights! It's nice to have our first mini vacation under our belts though. We are heading up to Cashiers, North Carolina in about 2 and a half weeks. I'm a little worried about the 8 hour drive. :)

Happy 3 Weeks!

Sweet boy had a better night last night. Adam put him down and I think that might be the key. I think he can smell my milk or sense that I'm a sucker and will very easily put him in the bed with us. :) Just as I couldn't believe how fast my pregnancy was winding down, I can't believe how fast this precious boy is growing! Mmmm I could just eat him up! He's so kissable.

Short Video

Beth and her mom were so generous and got us this awesome hand held video camera called Flip. It almost looks like an iPod. I've been having so much fun with it! Here is a very short clip of Camp making some sweet sounds. The original video is about 2 minutes long, but I edited it to make it a bit shorter. Adam and I didn't realize how silly we sound talking to Camp! But I guess that's pretty understandable, right? Enjoy!

Past Few Days

Jake Robert & Camp. JR said he was going to babysit Camp because he's the oldest! :)

Elsa & Camp

Finn, Elsa, & Linse Lane. Linse Lane said "I'm going to be Camp's babysitter....Mama said!"

The three oldest Meyer children met Camp for the first time yesterday. They were pretty smitten. I've been babysitting these precious children for 6 years now and it makes me sad that I won't be doing it on a regular basis anymore. I'm hoping once Camp gets a little bigger we'll be able to have play dates! These children are just too sweet and I was so lucky to have found a family like them to work for.

Adam, Camp, & I are going to take our first trip to the beach this weekend! I'm hoping that Camp loves beach air and sleeps well. He's been a little testy with his sleeping lately. He can sleep great when he's laying beside me, but put him in his crib and he cries! Some nights he's great and then others not so great. It's so tempting to just hold him while he sleeps because he's such a fun cuddle bunny, but I don't want to dig ourselves into a huge hole and have it become a routine.
ATTENTION GODMOTHER BETHEL: Please be patient as I learn how to upload videos. The Flip is so flipping awesome and we love it and I can't wait to post! I will do my best to get a video up by tonight! :) WE LOVE YOU!!!

We Love Our Little Buddy!!

After a sponge bath...surprisingly he didn't mind it too much!

Camp's first trip to the shop!

These little foot rattles are so funny!

Camp continues to get cuter and sweeter everyday! Adam and I are just having so much fun! We had a great weekend! Camp attended his first craft show on Saturday and he didn't make a peep. We also went to lunch and Target with Mama Byrd & Chandler. Saturday night, Adam, Camp, & I all got in our bed and watched the Florida/LSU game. It was just perfect. There was no where in this world that I wanted to be other than in that bed with my baby and my husband. On Sunday we went to Mama Byrd & Cap's house for dinner. Camp made his first trip of many to the shop today. I can't wait for him (well yes I can) to get a little bigger so he can help his daddy with all of the equipment. I have a feeling we'll have a 3rd generation working for CCLC. :)

2 Weeks Old!

I can't believe my baby is 2 weeks old! We went to the dr. again today for another weight check and he's up to 7 pounds, 7 ounces! At two weeks, they like for them to be back up to their birth weight so he's doing great!
This boy sure does love his paci!

Life is Good

Little Camper with his Beary. I'm going to take a picture like this every month. Camp is 1 week and 3 days in this picture.

Camp & sweet Linse Lane. It seems like just yesterday when she was this little!

The Little Buddy

Enjoying his bouncy seat

I love this picture!

Camper in his new day gown!

He's so handsome!!!

Camp is a week old today! It kind of makes me sad....I feel like he's already growing up too fast! We went to the dr. today for another weight and jaundice check. He's gained 2 ounces in 2 days and his jaundice levels are down. He's up to 6 pounds 15 ounces now. I can't believe he's not even 7 pounds! He's such a peanut! I guess the dr. looks for a gain of 1-1 1/2 ounces a day so Camp is right on track! We'll go back next Friday for another weight check and hopefully he'll be back up to his birth weight. Camp looks great and he was very well behaved at the appointment today....except for when I stripped him naked and stuck him on the scale. That precious boy does not like to be naked! Adam and I took Camp on his first walk last night and he enjoyed every minute of it. There were lots of neighbors out walking and it was fun showing him off. Here are a few more pictures from the past few days.

Three generations of Gunter boys!

Daddy sure loves his baby boy!

Getting ready for our first walk around the neighborhood!

Camp likes to hold on to his paci so it doesn't fall out....he is so smart! :)

I so called it....Narnie loves to sleep under Camp's crib! She's already such a sweet protector.

Our Week In Pictures

These are in no particular order....it takes way to long to get them in the right order! :) The little buddy is doing great! He's getting better every night with his schedule and feedings. He is so stinkin' cute and I could just kiss him all day long and not get sick of it! He's truly a precious miracle! For those of you wondering about the labor story.....it went AWESOME!!! We went in to the hospital around 9pm Thursday night and they started me on a very low dose of pitocin. My contractions were very mild and irregular for a while. Contractions started picking up around 3:15 am and my water broke on its own at 3:30. I quickly asked for the epidural (that thing is so amazing and I highly recommend it!) The epidural started working its wonders around 4 am and the little buddy was here at 4:25 am! I pushed about 4 times! The doctor and nurses were so impressed and suggested we have about 4 more babies!! Haha...I knew I was put on this Earth to be a mama!!!!
Auntie Chandler or just Chandler! :)

Go Noles! Thanks Holly!
