a walkin' boy, baby birds, & muffins for mom

Collinsy Bear is walking!!! He started last Tuesday 4/23 and hasn't looked back!

He thinks he's hot stuff! :)

Sweetest picture ever...Camp is Collins's biggest cheerleader!! :)

On Saturday, the baby wrens that had been living in our grill, left their nest. It was the sweetest thing to witness. Camp and I spent all morning looking out the window to watch these little birds.

The mama and daddy perched on the fence and called the babies out one by one. I'm so glad we got to see it!! We'd been watching the mama go in and out of the nest for weeks. Camp was crushed knowing that the babies (and mama) wouldn't be coming back to the nest.

Camp's sweet teachers and class hosted Muffins for Moms this morning.

Camp's class art show was also on display!

Me and my biggest buddy! Adam picked Collins up from the parking lot so I could enjoy Muffins for Moms alone with Camp. Adam keeps talking about how sweet it was to spend the morning with Collins and I loved that I could spend one on one time with Camp and not worry about Collins trying to get into everything! :) It was a win win for the both of us!!

Almost too cool to take a picture next to his art work.

I so enjoyed looking at all of the masterpieces!!! The teachers also displayed the books that they read that went with each art project.

What a sweet morning!

april 9th

On Collinsy's actual birthday, we celebrated by going to breakfast with Collins's birthday buddy, Rian!!

Rian treated Collins to some awesome beach goodies!

He was pretty pleased with his gifts!

I tried to get a picture of the birthday buddies, but Collins was more interested in the lawnmowers and blowers than looking at the camera!

When Adam came home from work, Camp couldn't wait any longer to open Collins's birthday presents from us!!

Camp was such a big help! ;)

After dinner we gave Collins a birthday cupcake...he held on to it for a few seconds and then dug right in!

I think he liked it!

Camper had to make a mess with his cupcake too! :)

Precious little feet...Collins loves to cross them.

a goldfish birthday party

I'd been planning Collins's birthday party for many months! I went back and forth on the party theme, but Camp came up with the fish theme and I went with it!!! I picked orange and turquoise as the party colors and had an absolute blast planning every little detail!

Adam and I decided to keep the party small and only invite our immediate family...we wanted to be able to enjoy the evening and not be too stressed about throwing a huge party! :) We wanted it to be all about Collins and to celebrate this sweet boy!! Celebrate we did!! Bebe was able to fly down again this weekend for the party and that was such a special treat. I think Collins had a blast at his party and that's all that matters!!!

I found this goldfish bath toy in Collins's toy bucket and put it aside months ago so I could use it for a party decoration. :) I found this glass fish bowl at Hobby Lobby and decided I'd put turquoise gum balls in it with the goldfish on top. I was so happy with the way it turned out!

I made orange cupcakes with turquoise icing and found the adorable cupcake toppers on Etsy.

sweetest brothers!

seems like yesterday that Camp was doing this same thing at his 1st birthday party!

Trip took this picture of our family and I love it.

Collins wanted to be outside during his party!! Here he is trying to stand up by himself.

I had all of Collins's monthly pictures up...

Looking at these pictures just puts a smile on my face.

Trip and Carly

We had Bradley's sausage dogs, macaroni & cheese, coleslaw, and fruit for dinner...then it was time for dessert!!

This boy loves cupcakes!! :)

big brother was able to help him blow out the candle

poor buddy kept putting his bib in his mouth to get every last bite of icing! :)

sweet kisses from collins!

time for presents...after a quick bath!!

the four wheeler from Trip was a HIT!!!

Trip also got Collins a camo tank top (sends shivers down my spine!!!!) but Camp thought it was pretty awesome so he put it on. He also wore it to bed and wore it all day today. It's a size 18 months! :)

Silly boy!

What a sweet night celebrating our sweet boy!!!!
