Do You Know What Grows?

My handsome husband does!!

Adam is now an FNGLA Certified Horticulture & Landscape Professional. I am so proud of him!

Congratulations, Adam!!!

Rub a Dub Dub

I let Camp take a bath outside last night. He had a blast! He's starting to really enjoy bath time now that he can sit up. He splashes everywhere and plays with his toys. We might start taking his baths outside from now on!

I'm hoping to get him a big baby pool sometime this week. After seeing how much he enjoyed his outside bath, I know he'll enjoy a baby pool. I would like to get one big enough for me or Adam to get into as well. I bought this little number at the Dollar Store last summer, but obviously didn't take a gander at the measurements.
I wouldn't be able to fit my big toe into this one!

Wow. Seven months crept up on me! Doesn't it seem like I just did Camp's six month pictures?? Yikes. He's getting so big so fast!
  • He's sitting up to play, in the high chair, and in the shopping cart.
  • He's getting up on all fours and rocking.
  • He's "smelling the flowers" and will do it after we do it.
  • We think he's starting to wave. (He's definitely waving. Mary came over tonight and he waved to her!)
  • He does not like when we leave the room.
  • He loves food and we call him a chow hound. He's even eating some big boy foods such as, bananas and Cheerios. He has tried guacamole and LOVES that too!!
  • I'm still nursing.
  • He likes to kick and can turn on his Baby Einstein mirror in the car. He likes to kick a lot when I'm changing his diaper and getting him dressed too!
  • We still love him more than anything in the whole world!!!!!!

Please excuse Camp's green bean stained bib...at least it's not on his shirt! :)

Picnic in the Park

We picked Linse Lane up from preschool today and brought her home for a picnic in the park. We had such a great time. She was such a big help and so easy!!!

This is Camp after seeing Linse Lane eating her lunch. This baby loves food. She was kind enough to share her animal crackers with him.....bad mommy forgot to bring the Cheerios!

She only ate the icing out of her Oreos.

I can't even believe how big she's getting!

Pool Day

Camp and I joined Becca and Brennan at the pool the other day. Danielle and Sophie joined us too! The water was pretty darn cold, but we had fun anyway! I can't wait for the water to warm up. I know Camp's going to love the pool.

Happy Birthday Sophie!

Sophie celebrated her first birthday on Monday and her sweet parents threw an awesome party!! It made me excited to start thinking about Camp's.....in 5 months and 3 days! (ahhhh I don't want to think about it quite yet!!!!)

I can't believe that Sophie is already 1! I remember getting the call that she had arrived and then going to see her in the hospital.
It was so surreal. We went out to dinner with Micah and Danielle only two nights before and now they had a baby!! I was pregnant with Camp, but didn't even know he was a boy yet. I just couldn't believe that I'd be sitting in the hospital five months down the road with my little munchkin!
And now she's ONE!
And Camp's almost 7 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!
Ok enough of the reminiscing....Here are some fun pictures.

Camp after a night of celebrating!
I think he was already asleep by the time the car shifted from park to drive!
Thanks for the great party! We had such a fun time!

St. Teresa

We spent the weekend in St. Teresa with the Hellers and the McGills. It was actually Camp's first beach experience......with sand and sunscreen. We had so much fun that we barged in on the Heller's family time and stayed Sunday night too!

We started Friday night at The Seineyard for a very tasty dinner. While walking into the restaurant, Adam and I came across this sweet woman hiding in the parking lot waiting to surprise her friend for her birthday. We were all anxiously waiting for her friend to show up so we could watch her do her little jig. It was pretty cute.

Saturday started with a boat launch and a search party for the Heller's chocolate lab, Angus. He ended up getting out twice, but came back both times. :) We also saw several white squirrels that I thought were pretty cool.

While the boys fished to catch our dinner, the girls....and Camper decided to make a trip to Apalach. We enjoyed shopping and taking a break for some ice cream.

Camp's very first feel of the sand between his toes!

We came back from Apalach to see the boys cleaning lots of fish!! We were glad to know that we would be eating dinner that night. :) After all the fish were cleaned, we headed down to the beach for a few hours. Camp wasn't so sure. It was pretty windy and a little cool. He did eat a handful of sand, but it didn't seem to bother him. I'm sure the older he gets, the more fun he'll have playing in the sand.

Camp feeling the love from Sophie's sweet kisses!

Camp had lots of fun playing with Sophie's fun toys! His absolute favorite was this Vtech Piano .

We had such a great time!! Thanks for letting us tag along, Heller family!
