2 month stats

 Collins is almost 2 and a half months old, but he had his 2 month well check up today. He looks perfect! He's 12lbs, 7oz (70%) 23.5 inches (75%) and his head circumference is 15.7 inches (50%).

He got three shots and one oral vaccine today. He cried when he got his shots, but stopped right after. I held it together while he got the shots until I looked over at Camp and saw him crying. :( Bless his baby heart, he was so worried about his baby brother and didn't like that he was getting those bad ol' shots! Even before the shots, he didn't want me putting Collins on the table to get measured or on the scale to get weighed. He is such a protective big brother.

10 weeks

3 years, 9 months

We're enjoying a week with not much to do! Two weeks of summer camp and swim lessons wore us out! :) It's been nice to stay at home and tackle some projects that have been on my "to do" list for some time. I've already cleaned and organized the pantry and laundry room. Next on my list is our closet and cleaning out Camp's toys. :)

Camp is as cute as ever these days. I love hearing all he has to say. The other day he came up to me and said "Me and my dog are going to go outside and find a dinosaur in the jungle. And we are going to shoot it and we are going to eat it!" One afternoon when he woke up from a nap he told me, "I was having a good dream about the boat and the beach" When Bebe was here, she and I were in the living room chatting late one evening and we heard Camp talking in his sleep saying, "oh my red fish!!" :) 

Collins has his 2 month drs appointment at the end of the week and I'm so excited to see how much he's grown since last month. He's becoming quite the talkative baby...I just love it! He's been sleeping in until 6 or 7 and I'm so thankful. He seems to be following in his big brother's footsteps and is another great sleeper! I love that I can just put him down in his crib and he'll fall asleep. Sometimes I have to go back and put his paci back in, but that is happening less and less. Have I mentioned how sweet he is?? 

our summer so far

Camp finished two weeks of swim lessons on Friday. He absolutely loved it this year!

He loved "mrs. randi's pool" as he called it because he could walk in the shallow end all by himself. He's been practicing at Yaya and Bop Bop's pool and can swim like a little fish!

Pam Pam and Yaya's class fish, Nemo, is living with us for the summer. Camp is so happy to have him live with us for a while...I hope Camp lets Yaya take him back to her class come August! :)

school's out for the summer

Ahhh! I can finally blog again! We are back in business with our new MacBook and I'm loving it already! 

Camp's last day of school was May 30th and we've been busy bees ever since!! Between summer camp, swim lessons, beach trips, Bebe in town, and Adam and I celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary and our 10th high school reunion, it's been a fun summer already!

I bought a pack of silly straws a year and a half ago with all intentions of giving them to the kids in Camp's preschool class last year...I never got around to it last year so I decided to hand them out this year! These are the little tags I made to go on the packages.

Camp's been all about silly string these days (just look in our back yard, it's everywhere!!) I figured the silly string would be the perfect addition to the silly straws!! :) I know the mothers of the kids in his class are cursing my name right about now! Haha!! I thought they turned out so cute and Camp was so excited to give them to his friends on the last day of school. He was glad when two friends were absent that day so he got to keep their goodies for himself!

Camp had a great year and made some sweet friends. He talked a lot about Bo, Crockett, Lowell, Logan, Kaley, & Anna. 

Mrs. Parry wrote this on his report card and it made me so happy. :)

Collins boy at 2 months

Collins turned 2 months on Saturday, June 9th. Where has the time gone? He continues to be the sweetest little baby!!

Collins doesn't have his 2 month appointment until the end of the month so I will update with exact stats then. I weighed him on our scale and he's approximately 12 lbs, 10 oz.

He's wearing a size 1 diaper and 6 month clothes. 

He loves his big brother and always lights up when he sees him. 

He's starting to squeal and make sweet coos...it's so cute!

He nurses every three hours during the day...his last feeding is usually 8 or 8:30 and then he's been sleeping until 4-5am. I put him in his crib to sleep for the night between 8:30 and 9.

Summertime

Our laptop has officially bit the dust. :( Only took three years and four months. We are getting a MacBook this time! Until we get our new computer, blog posts (and pictures) from my phone will have to suffice! :)

Camp is in summer camp and swim lessons this week and next and he's having an absolute ball!!! Bebe is in town and we're all so happy she's here! Collins will be two months on Saturday...yes you read that right! He's sleeping 6-7 hours straight at night, wakes up to nurse then sleeps 3-4 more hours. He is the sweetest baby and brings us so much joy!
