- He's become fascinated with owls. Whenever he sees pictures of owls, he'll hoot!
- Every time he sees Santa he says "Ho, Ho". Santa's everywhere now, so he does it all the time! It's so cute!
- He loves all animals and he knows cow, cat, dog, owl, and bird sounds. (his variation of them....we know what he means when he does them!)
- Uncle Trip noticed this, but every time we say "ewwwwy" he crinkles up his nose and drops whatever he's holding. :)
- He shakes his head yes when he wants something and he usually follows that with signing please.
- When he wakes up in the morning, I'll bring him back in bed with me and we cuddle for about 15 more minutes. He just started this about 2 weeks ago and I love it.
- He loves to be outside.
- He just has his two bottom teeth.
- He'd eat cookies, cheese, and blueberries all day if we'd let him.
- He's running!!!
- In size 18 month clothes and size 4 diapers, size 4 shoe.
- Still sleeps like a champ! Bed at 8 up at 7:30-8. Two naps a day.

14 Months
I am waaaayyy behind on blogging! We've been busy bees! Adam's been off of work since Wednesday and we've been having fun spending time together. Camp's enjoying waking up in the morning and finding Daddy still at home! I will slowly catch up on all of our Thanksgiving festivities, but I'll start out with Camp's 14 month stats.
Camp turned 14 months on Thanksgiving. He's growing and changing everyday!

Thanksgiving Preparations
I'm making Pumpkin Gingerbread Trifle and Pumpkin Bars to take to our Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. I usually bring the Pumpkin Bars every year, but this is my first year bringing the trifle. Heather gave me the inspiration and if it doesn't turn out I am blaming it on her! :) Just joking!
I just know gingerbread, pumpkin, and whipped cream layered so beautifully in a trifle bowl is going to be STUPENDOUS!!
And for those of you also making the trifle, I only used one box of gingerbread mix and it was more than enough. My trifle bowl is small, but the pumpkin mixture measurements were spot on. FYI.
The trifle is complete and in the fridge!
Camp woke up from his nap while I was in the middle of baking so he pulled up his high chair and joined in on the fun. I even let him lick the pudding bowl.
By the way, Cook & Serve pudding is so much tastier than instant!

Weekend Wrap Up
We had a pretty laid back weekend.....that's just how I like them.
We started the weekend at Barnaby's for dinner.....mmmmm. They have the best pizza in town. I think it's my favorite pizza ever. People try to compare it to Red Elephant and there just ain't no comparison. It's truly a Tallahassee tradition.
Saturday morning, the Junior League of Tallahassee hosted a 5K/Fun Run. Camp and I thought it would be fun to do the Fun Run/Walk so we headed out to Maclay Gardens. Holly and Sally Kate walked with us!
I took a few pictures of my extremely good looking siblings. It was fun taking pictures of new models.....(models that sit still for longer than 2.3 seconds!)
Trip's gonna kill me when he sees these, but I think they're great!
First of all.....when did she grow up? It was weird looking at her through my camera and seeing a grown woman!!! She looks just like her daddy.
I made this cute shirt for Sally Kate. Since the selection of Thanksgiving shirts were pretty slim, I told Holly that I could stich one up in no time. SK will be sportin' this one-of-a-kind Turkey Day shirt and she'll be so cute!

It was opening weekend for duck hunting so my husband woke up at 4:30am on Saturday AND Sunday to partake. On Friday night, Adam said it felt like Christmas Eve....bless his heart! He loves it so much. I'm just thankful duck season doesn't last all year long.
On Sunday, Camp and I joined Daddy at the lake for a little campfire action. As a mother of a little boy, I'm granted admission to the "Boys Only" events. We had fun hanging out with the boys. :)
Training him early....
He loves to stand over the vacuum to feel the breeze!
We are looking forward to the upcoming long weekend and spending Thanksgiving with our family.
Happy Monday!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like.....
Christmas???
It's not even Thanksgiving yet, but Christmas is in the air.....and on the radio waves.
Last night Camp and I headed to Miss Mandy's for their annual Christmas Open House. We picked Mary up along the way and met Holly and Sally Kate there too!
Miss Mandy's was packed full of people looking to get their 15% off of her adorable Christmas goodies. I was so glad to see such a good turnout....I like when my favorite store does a good business! There were sweet treats, raffles, and even the man in the red suit! It was a very festive evening.
I didn't buy a thing. Although I have my fair share of Christmas decor, especially Miss Mandy's Christmas decor, there were still things that I would have loved to take home with me. The star garland, the cream glittery wall decoration, the tinsle tree.....
*Hint, Hint, man in the red suit!*
Camp was not quite sure of Santa. I didn't think he'd be as frightened as he was! I hate to break it to the little buddy, but we are going to the mall this year and I'm getting a picture of him sitting on Santa's lap. :)
Kissing under the mistletoe
Another night of dress up....
Mmmm....what a sweet boy!!

No Soup for You!
This past Saturday night, Mary and I hosted a fall party at our house. The weather was absolutely perfect and the company was even better. We served two soups.....Sausage Corn Chowder and Chicken Tortilla Soup with all the fixin's. It was such a cute concept and I think everyone had a great time. I had lots of fun and I'm going to make sure that every party I throw from now on is hosted with someone else. It makes for a much more enjoyable party experience!
Tom Turkey was on the front porch to greet the guests.
The spread....so festive!
Beautiful flower arrangement compliments of Mary Caroline Radcliffe, Inc.
Spoons wrapped in fall napkins tied with raffia.
Pumpkin spice cupcakes......mmmmmm!!
All the fixin's
My favorite part of the whole party. I love this baby bath tub filled with adult beverages.....so cute!
Holly, SK, Mary, Blair, & Elizabeth.
My only picture of guests.... :( I was just having too much fun to take pictures!
Matt, Micah, Grady, and Adam
How many people does it take to start a fire in the fire pit?
And I'm going to have to add that my poor husband didn't eat any soup at this soup party. He wanted to wait until everyone else served their bowls and by the time he came in to get some soup, it was all gone! Poor Adam.
I am making Chicken Tortilla Soup tomorrow night for dinner to make up for it though! :)

Mountain Getaway
We just got back from a fabulous vacation to the North Georgia Mountains. It goes without saying that Camp was the BEST traveller. He had a great time and went with the flow.
He had a few moments of fussiness on the car ride home, but that's to be expected!
We arrived at my Aunt Vicki and Uncle Oscar's late Friday evening. We left town around 6:30 and Camp slept the entire car ride up. That's the way to travel with little ones!! It made for a very enjoyable ride.
We spent Saturday watching college football and enjoying Vicki and Oscar's gorgeous home.
The Chattahoochee River is their back yard! The setting is just perfect.
My Uncle Oscar took Adam for a little spin in this baby and Adam now wants to buy one. :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our time.
Sunday evening we headed to the house that Adam's parent's rented for the week.
The house was huge and overlooked the town.
Up with the sun and my son! :) Camp woke up at 6:30 the first morning we were there, but I was able to watch the gorgeous sunrise!
On Monday we headed to Anna Ruby Falls.
It was so pretty and an easy hike with a 13 month old. :)
On the walk back, Camper fell asleep in his daddy's arms. That cool mountain air sure made him sleepy.
While looking through the stacks of brochures that were at our mountain house, I saw a flyer for Fred's Famous Peanuts. It looked like something right up my alley and it definitely was!
I tried fried peanuts for the first time and they were mighty tasty!! I left with a root beer in a glass bottle and boiled peanuts and I was a happy girl.
Tuesday brought rain from Tropical Storm Ida...
We shopped at a few stores and ate yummy BBQ.
Adam reading Camp's new favorite book. Usually I'll read the book and Adam will do the animal sounds.....he's better at that than I am! Camp now makes owl sounds when he sees an owl.
On Wednesday we went on a little hike behind the mountain house. The house was right on the edge of a state park. It was gorgeous and we even found a little waterfall.
Carrie Anne came prepared for the hike with her flip flops and cell phone....hey Kaitlin! :)
Sorry ladies, he's taken..... :)
We woke up Thursday morning to a GORGEOUS day. We were sad that we had to pack up the car and leave, but were thankful that we didn't have to drive home in rainy weather.
On the way out of town, Adam wanted to get a picture with the largest pine in the state of Georgia.
Almost home.....we stopped off at Stripling's in Cordele, GA for a little break.
We had such a wonderful time.
Adam's family takes a fall mountain trip every year. This was my 5th trip with the Gunter family and I look forward to it every year. We've been to Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia and always stay in the coolest houses.
Where are we going to go next year???
