21 months

I can't believe that Collins is already 21 months! I'm losing track of how old he is...it's just going way too fast!

I'm glad I took these pictures on time this month because Collins now has a beautiful shiner under

 his left eye. He got in the way of Camp swinging a baseball bat...a foam baseball bat, but it still did some damage!! :(

Collins is growing and changing every day! He is saying so many new words! He'll try to have conversations with me and he sounds so serious!! He'll just babble and I have no idea what he's saying, but it's pretty cute. 

Collins is a BUSY BUSY child!!! He is constantly climbing and moving. You really cannot take your eyes off of him. I walked out of the room this morning and 5 seconds later I hear the kitchen faucet running...he is FAST!!!!  

Collins loves to read books...especially books about tractors. He asks to read them all day long. 

Collins's favorite word this month is NO. He squints his nose and says it so funny...I have a hard time keeping a straight face when he does it. 

His favorite foods are cheese, eggs, bananas, grapes, popcorn, and of course lalas! 

He loves for me to kiss his boo boos. 

He's into Mickey (doh doh) and Elmo (melmo) these days. He also likes Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Whenever he sees Jake he'll say "Yo Ho Ho!" ;) It's so cute!!

He's pretty much down to just one nap a day...he'll usually go down around 11 or so. He goes to bed at night around 8 and wakes up around 8 in the morning. 

He's wearing size 2T pants/shirts/longalls and size 5 diapers.

Happy 21 months, you sweet boy!!!

The week before Christmas, Chandler and Trip were both in town so we made Bebe happy and took a sibling picture!! It's always so hard to get the three of us together at one time and it'll be even harder now that Trip has gotten his dream job as a harbor pilot in Texas. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of him, but the big sister in me is also so very sad that he won't be living two miles down the street anymore. :( 

We spent the first thirty minutes trying to prop the camera up and do the self timer, but thankfully Trip's friend Brian came to the rescue to snap a few pictures for us!! 

This pic is my absolute fave...

I'm so thankful for these two!!

Can't wait to come visit you where the cowboys live, Trip!! I've already found a sweet Hampton Inn in Lafayette!!

We had a great Christmas!! Watching the excitement in Camp is the sweetest thing! On Christmas Eve, Camp looked up in the night sky and saw a blinking red light. He was convinced it was Santa's sleigh with Rudolph leading the way. He immediately ran inside, turned off all of the lights and said he wanted to go to bed!! 

Camp wanted to leave coffee cake out for Santa instead of cookies...

The boys spent the day playing with their new toys and then we went to Yaya & Bop Bop's for a fabulous Christmas dinner! Yaya always sets the prettiest tables and makes the tastiest dinners! It was a lovely Christmas.

Collinsy got an anywhere chair and the boys look too cute while watching TV.

a cruise and christmas festivities

About a month ago, Bebe called to tell me she had put me down as an emergency contact for a cruise that she, Fred, and Chandler were going to take right before Christmas. I ended up inviting myself on the cruise and crashed their vacation!! I'm so happy that I did...we had a blast and it was so much fun to get away and relax! 

Poor Fred was surrounded by women...we only drove him a little bit crazy!! JJ

I spent half of the time in my comfy bunk and watched some great movies! 

The cruise stopped in Cozumel so we found a yummy Mexican restaurant with legit Margaritas. They were soooo good!!

Don't think I'd want to jump over that wall!!

Camper napped on the couch all day after an early morning of duck hunting...Collins wanted his brother to WAKE UP!!! :)

And a first...Collins fell asleep while I was holding him. This has never happened!!! I loved it and let him sleep on me for a while before I put him down in his crib. 

Adam took Collins to get his hair cut yesterday and it ended up turning out ADORABLE! 

On Christmas Eve, Jake lets Camp hold him for a bit and Camp thinks it's the coolest thing ever. Here are Camp and Jake watching morning cartoons!
