summer vacation

We just got back from a fabulous week in north Georgia. We spent the first part of the week at our favorite Lake Rabun then headed west to Blue Ridge.

This was really Collins's 2nd trip to the lake! I found out I was pregnant the day before we left for our trip last year! :)

Collins loved the lake...

And this little buddy was just so happy to be back at the "wake"! He counted down the days before our vacation.

Steps to our lake house...

Daddy and Camp in the canoe.

Camp did a lot of fishing on this trip!

Matching brothers!

We spent most of our days on the pontoon boat and swimming in the perfect lake water. Lake Rabun really is a slice of heaven!

Collins was so happy on the boat! This was his first time on a boat and the first time wearing a bathing suit!
We had the best time at the "wake" and I'm ready to go back!
Thursday came too soon, but I was so glad that we got to extend our vacation and spend the rest of the week with Bebe, Papa, & Chandler!

Happy boy loves vacations!

on Friday we headed to the Nantahala River...Collins enjoyed napping in the shade!

Camp went for a swim in the FREEZING cold water!!

Beautiful sunset from inside the house...Blue Ridge was experiencing a major heat wave and it was just more comfortable to stay inside! :)

My handsome crew! I love this picture of my boys!

On Saturday we headed to the Ocoee River...it was like an oven outside so we didn't stay for long. We enjoyed watching a few rafters go by and even saw a raft full of people flip over! Yikes...that's a little too much adventure for me!

After the Ocoee River, we headed to Merciers for an obligatory shopping trip! We loaded up on fried pies and Camp got this awesome Civil War gun and we were good to go!

Collins added North Carolina to his "state list" and both boys added Tennessee! :) It was a fantastic family vacation and we were sure missing Adam today when he had to go back to work! It was so nice to have him with us all day every day for a whole week! He works so hard and he definitely deserved his time off!! I'm ready for our next family vacation!!

Thank you to Yaya & Bop Bop for a fabulous lake trip and to Bebe & Papa for putting up with our Gunter family for a few days! :)
