5 months

5 months...seriously? Where has the time gone?

• Collins is wearing size 6-9 month clothes...he started wearing 9 month footie pajamas just a few nights ago. It's so fun being able to open a new Rubbermaid bin of Camp's old clothes! Most of Camp's 9-12 month clothes are summery clothes, but there are still things Collins can wear. He's wearing a size 3 diaper.

• Collins loves to play with his toes and puts everything in his mouth.

• He loves toys and his zebra is still his favorite. I just got him some new teethers to put in the fridge...he loves to bite down on things. Camp did this same thing and didn't get teeth until he was 13 months old so I'd be very surprised if he's teething already.

• He talks so sweet and squeals happily. He talks a lot in the car too...and car rides are a breeze now. No fussing whatsoever! YAY!

• He goes to bed around 7:45-8 and sleeps in until 6-7:30. I'm hoping the early morning wake ups are behind us. It must have been a 3 week long growth spurt or something, but he was getting up around 4 and 5 and was acting like he was starving. The only good thing about getting up between 4 and 5 was that he'd go back to sleep for another 3 hours, but now when he gets up around 6 or 7, he's up! :)

• He wakes up and rolls over to his back and will talk to himself. We always get the sweetest smiles when we walk in to his room to get him out of his crib.

• He loves his big brother and Camp can always entertain him and make him happy.

• He grabs at anything he can get his hands on. 

• He loves dogs and is really fascinated with them. 

• He is totally content when he's outside...I'm hoping we can spend more time outside once this fall weather arrives!
