Camp's First Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Camp's first birthday last night. His real birthday isn't until September 26th, but we tried to work around everyones schedule so we could have as many people as possible celebrate the precious boy's birthday!
We had almost 40 people at our house and it was a blast! I think Camp had the most fun....

The food was so tasty! My mom made sausage stars and they were a HUGE hit! I'll post the recipe soon because I think every single person at the party asked for it!

Cake Shop cake.....primary colors with a splash of puppy!
The Cake Shop was able to draw the puppy from the birthday invitation. I thought it turned out precious!

Party favors

Elsa and Camp. Camp sure loves the ladies!

In his adorable romper from Initially Yours Monogramming

Enjoying black beans, watermelon, and cheese!

Cake time!!

Camp did not disappoint! He had so much fun eating his cake.

Barrett was able to get in on the cake action too!

Camp's new 'silly' face!

Sophie & Camp loving on eachother.

Camp came inside after eating his cake and discovered that he had lots of presents to open!

Camp wanted to play with everything instead of opening more presents.
He opened his Tow Mater truck first and couldn't really be bothered with anything else! He loves that thing! Thanks Meg, Billy, Ginny & Trey!

Lollie and Popsie got Camp this awesome tractor and trailer with farm animals. It drives across the floor and makes animal noises. Camp loves this too!!

I forgot to put Camp's birthday hat on when he ate his cake so we decided to put it on him while he opened his presents.

He got so many wonderful things! I think I might pack half of his gifts up and bring them out in a few months!

Bless his heart....everytime we stop pushing the car, he'll break out in hysterics. He wants to keep moving.

Now on to the cool dump truck from the Meyer family....and wearing his new hat and t-shirt from Uncle Trip!

It's hard for me and Adam not to get a little touch of sadness as Camp hits this 1st birthday milestone. We can't believe how fast this year has gone by....it really just seems like we were bringing him home from the hospital. I can't say it enough, but he is the best baby. We are so blessed to have him and we are looking forward to the new memories and milestones of his 2nd year!
Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate Camp's birthday! He has so many people that love and care about him.
And special thanks to my mom and Fred for all of their help before, during, and after the party!

Most babies are happier with the wrapping paper and boxes. Not this little boy. He loved each and every present he opened. Camp did so well and performed for everyone. It's like he knew they were all there for him. He had such a good time at his own party!!
