We spent the weekend in St. Teresa with the Hellers and the McGills. It was actually Camp's first beach experience......with sand and sunscreen. We had so much fun that we barged in on the Heller's family time and stayed Sunday night too!
We started Friday night at The Seineyard for a very tasty dinner. While walking into the restaurant, Adam and I came across this sweet woman hiding in the parking lot waiting to surprise her friend for her birthday. We were all anxiously waiting for her friend to show up so we could watch her do her little jig. It was pretty cute.
Saturday started with a boat launch and a search party for the Heller's chocolate lab, Angus. He ended up getting out twice, but came back both times. :) We also saw several white squirrels that I thought were pretty cool.
While the boys fished to catch our dinner, the girls....and Camper decided to make a trip to Apalach. We enjoyed shopping and taking a break for some ice cream.
Camp's very first feel of the sand between his toes!
We came back from Apalach to see the boys cleaning lots of fish!! We were glad to know that we would be eating dinner that night. :) After all the fish were cleaned, we headed down to the beach for a few hours. Camp wasn't so sure. It was pretty windy and a little cool. He did eat a handful of sand, but it didn't seem to bother him. I'm sure the older he gets, the more fun he'll have playing in the sand.
