No Reason At All
Phew!
The drs. office just called and said that my bloodwork came back fine. I've had previous exposure, but I'm not infected. Yay! Now I have one less thing to worry about! :)

What a Sweet Sound!
I just got back from the dr. and we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. It was amazing! The dr. found the heartbeat fast so it was nice that I didn't have to lay there and worry for too long! She said the heartbeat was in the 150's which she said was perfect. Still no word on the blood work, but in the meantime, I've been able to stay home from school! Hopefully I'll find out the results tomorrow. We go back May 14th to find out if we're having a boy or a girl! We cannot wait!

Such is Life!
Well I went to school yesterday to find out that two of my students have Fifth Disease aka Parvovirus B19. This was one of the illnesses that I was warned about at our first ob appointment. So needless to say I was a little on edge....especially when I found out that I would then have to get blood work done. After reading many books and talking to several nurses, there really shouldn't be much threat to the baby, but of course I'm a nervous wreck! I go to the dr. tomorrow for my 16 week check up so I'm ready to bombard him with questions and concerns. Hopefully the blood work will be back by then and I can be assured. I'm also hoping that I had this when I was younger and I'm already immune to it. My mom can't really remember. She knows that one of us had it, but just can't remember who! :) So maybe I've already been exposed to it and I've built up antibodies. I think if the baby were to be affected by the illness, it would have problems with anemia. Lets just pray that I didn't contract it and that I don't have to worry about the slight chance the baby did as well!

Happy Birthday Adam!
Here are some pictures from Adam's 25th birthday. His birthday was March 16th, but I'm just now getting around to posting. We went to Wakulla Springs for a wonderful dinner. We always seem to choose that place for special occasions. I got Adam a Jimmy Buffet CD (notice the awesome hand sign) and a really nice leather CD case from Colonel Littleton. He was very excited!

Bella Band
Wow. It took me this long to finally break down and buy one, but I LOVE MY BELLA BAND! I'm able to wear my regular clothes and not look stupid with my pants unbuttoned. It was definitely a smart buy! I bought it at Grammy & Gee, the most adorable mother and children store in Tallahassee and it's in walking distance from our house....uh oh, that's going to be trouble!

First Ultrasound!
Wow! Adam and I just got back from our first ultrasound and meeting with the doctor. Let me tell you....that was the most amazing experience EVER!!! We saw the precious little baby and two arms and two legs! At one point the baby crossed it's legs!! It was so cute! We saw the little heart beating too. It was just wonderful. I go back in 4 weeks and we get to hear the heartbeat! In about 7 weeks we'll go back and find out if it's a boy or a girl!! HOW EXCITING! I'll post the pictures of the baby once I go to my mom's and use her scanner. Right now the doctor said I was 11 weeks and 5 days, but has my due date at September 30th. Only 6 more months! Yippee!!!!
