pumpkin patch & lots of time outside

 Camper finally had his turn at the pumpkin patch on Wednesday!
We met his class and enjoyed the festivities...

With this glorious weather we've been having, we are spending lots of time outside! 

think he needs a haircut???

Camp has been asking if he could try chopsticks sometime so we got some for him and he got a real kick out of them! 

not too shabby! 

Collins was so cuddly after his nap yesterday morning. I thought he might have gone back to sleep so I turned my phone camera on to see if he was awake or not...sweetest boy!

While Collins napped yesterday afternoon, I put a blanket outside on the grass and watched Camp ride his bike in the driveway. Camper thought it looked pretty comfy so he ended up joining me! 

Fall weather is the best and so is sweet time with my biggest buddy!!!

our weekend

We had a nice low key weekend...Adam was out of town so it was just me and the boys!! 

Camp found the canned pumpkin in the pantry and asked if we could make cookies...how could I say no to that face?? Or to pumpkin cookies? :)

Collinsy was pleasantly surprised when he woke up from his nap and got to have some cookies for a snack!

Camper was supposed to go to the pumpkin patch today, but it got rained out. Major bummer!

It's rescheduled for tomorrow so stay tuned for pics!

18 months

I'm nine days late taking pictures, but who's counting? :)

Collins is 18 months old and is as busy as ever! This little buddy is wearing me out! He's going through an extremely clingy phase and it makes getting anything accomplished, practically impossible. He had his 18 month appointment yesterday and screamed when they measured his head, weighed him, looked in his ears, listened to his heart, etc. He immediately stopped and started smiling behind his paci as soon as I picked him up! :) He's a mess!!

18 month stats:

height- 33 1/2" 

weight- 26 lbs, 6oz

head circumference- 49cm

The pediatrician was shocked at the jump in both his weight and height! 

He's very chatty and his new words this month are blower, mower, banana, and the made up "badabada". :) Silly munchkin.

He's still taking two naps a day and I feel like he still needs both of them. I love nap time so I'm in no rush to get rid of one! He goes to bed at 8 and wakes up around 7:30-8. He really is the best sleeper. 

He loves to play outside and loves to go out to the garden to pick what's left of our veggies. He even takes bites of the peppers and he doesn't seem to be bothered by them!!

His favorite foods are watermelon, bananas, cheese, turkey sandwiches, and lalas (lollipops). 

He still LOVES books. His DOG book and First 100 Words are still his favorites. 

When I ask him to give me a kiss, he thinks it's hilarious to shake his head no!  

He's wearing size 24 months, size 5 diaper and a size 6 shoe. 

He's fascinated with motorcycles, helicopters, big trucks, mowers, and blowers.
